All In Content has sold done-for-you services since day one. Ideas, recording, coaching, editing, captions, thumbnails, scheduling, posting. As hands-off as it gets for the business.

In this episode, Chris Hanna says out loud something he has never talked about publicly: the clients who lean on that hardest are often the ones getting the least out of it.

He walks into a batch session with 20 to 40 ideas prepared, hooks written, bullet points ready. Some clients take it and run with it, add their own angle, push back, make it theirs. Others just read it verbatim. No pushback, no clarification, nothing added. It looks like trust, and Chris appreciates the trust, but he thinks it hurts the business paying for it.

His take: content is dramatically better when the business actually cares what it is putting out. Which means his own offer works best on the clients who refuse to fully lean on it.

In this episode:

  • What done for you actually covers at All In Content, and the one piece it can never cover
  • Why a client's opinion beats Chris's opinion every time, because they live in the business day to day
  • The consultation where a prospect said figuring out what to talk about was Chris's job
  • What checking the box looks like from behind the camera, and why the content ends up flat
  • Why "I'm out there" is not a result
  • The onboarding changes Chris is considering to force more collaboration
  • Why he is not changing the offer, just being honest about its limits

Chris is not walking away from selling done for you. He is stating publicly that it has to be done with you.

Next week he is getting very transparent about something in the business he thinks is broken.
